{"id":154,"date":"2020-06-29T01:12:39","date_gmt":"2020-06-29T01:12:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/potatosquad.org\/?p=154"},"modified":"2021-01-07T19:07:03","modified_gmt":"2021-01-07T19:07:03","slug":"vegan-pancakes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/potatosquad.org\/index.php\/2020\/06\/29\/vegan-pancakes\/","title":{"rendered":"Vegan Pancakes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This is an easy, tasty recipe that can be adjusted to make however many or few pancakes you want!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For 1 tiny pancake:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1T flour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/2t sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/4t sunflower (or other) oil plus extra for the pan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A tiny amount of baking powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A tiny amount of salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/2T water or soy milk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For 6 medium pancakes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/2 cup flour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4t sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2t oil plus extra for the pan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/4t baking powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/8t salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/2 cup water or soy milk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chocolate chips (optional \u2014 look for fair-trade vegan ones)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A banana (optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blueberries (optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stir together the dry ingredients, add the oil and however much water you need to get the consistency you want, and add chocolate and\/or fruit if you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Put a pan or skillet with oil on the stove on medium-low heat, pour the batter into circles, and flip the pancakes when one side is browned.
