Hello, fellow potatoes of the world!! We hope you\u2019re enjoying the beginning of fall. \ud83c\udf42\ud83c\udf41<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Update: We will be taking a two-month break from sending emails, but don\u2019t fret \u2014 we will be back in January!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This month we\u2019ll be reviewing some simple (not necessarily easy) lifestyle changes, and we encourage you to make at least one of these changes this month. We all have different needs, so try these out and see what solutions work for you. It doesn\u2019t hurt to try it, and you don\u2019t have to continue if something doesn\u2019t work for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Start substituting one <\/em>paper product with a reusable option<\/a>, e.g. paper towel, napkins, paper cups\/tableware, tissue, and toilet paper (seriously, once you start, you can\u2019t go back for soooooo many reasons)<\/li>
  2. Start taking some reusable products in your everyday bag<\/a>, e.g. cutlery, napkins, handkerchiefs, straw, water bottle, etc. <\/li>
  3. Eat sustainably: start meal planning<\/a>, composting<\/a>, eating more plant-based and unpackaged food, etc. <\/li>
  4. Use public transport, bike, or walk when you can<\/li>
  5. Turn off the lights<\/a> and faucet<\/a> when you\u2019re not using them and turning down the heat<\/li>
  6. Reduce<\/a>, reuse<\/a>, recycle<\/a>!<\/li>
  7. Learn how to recycle in your area<\/a> and hold trash pick-up parties<\/a><\/li>
  8. Buy less<\/a> and buy secondhand<\/li>
  9. Lead by example and spread the word!<\/a><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
