This can easily be made vegan and is much healthier than typical pizzas! It also uses less packaging if you make it all from scratch.
Ingredients:
Crust:
2 ½ cups flour (einkorn is healthy and tastes good but makes it more crumbly)
2T olive oil
2t baking powder
1 cup water
Sauce:
Tomato paste (try to find some with reusable or more eco-friendly packaging)
Olive oil
Salt
Black pepper
Granulated garlic
Cayenne pepper and/or crushed red pepper and/or chili powder
Oregano
Dill
Toppings:
Whatever you want! You can use lots of veggies you like (onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, spinach, hot peppers, etc. work well), and optionally cheese and meat or vegan alternatives (I also use hot sauce ????)
Mix together the dough and stretch it out on a pan (or a few small ones), and mix together the sauce ingredients on low heat. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Put the sauce and toppings on the pizza and bake it for 13 minutes. Enjoy!
